Patient Safety Information:
The SAINT® Neuromodulation System is indicated for the treatment of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) in adult patients who have failed to achieve satisfactory improvement from prior antidepressant medication in the current episode. You should not receive SAINT Neuromodulation System therapy if you have any non-removable metal material anywhere in your head or within 30cm of the stimulation device, you have an active or inactive implanted device, or you have a catheter, pump, or other device that may interact with stimulation. Side effects may include headache, anxiety, fatigue, and discomfort from stimulation. Other side effects, including seizure and worsening depression or suicidal thoughts, have occurred with similar devices and may occur. Not all patients will have improvement of depression symptoms.
